Newest Fellowcraft

We had our first meeting after the summer recess on Tuesday 2nd September and what a meeting it was. We were joined by many guests and visitors including a rather large delegation from Manor of Faversham lodge no. 8248. We were all witness to a fabulous ceremony where we saw Bro. Stephen Marchant passed to the 2nd Degree (fellowcraft). Our Worshipful Master W.Bro Steven Charnock led the evening with confidence and Bro. Marchant was expertly guided through the ceremony by Bro David Irvine who was standing in as our Senior Deacon. The working tools (which are the extended version at Adams) were delivered by our newest Master Mason Bro. Daniel Baker with exceptional clarity.

After the business of lodge was conducted brethren moved downstairs for the festive board for good food; we all enjoyed the meal of pate to start, roast beef main followed by cheese and biscuits, good company accompanied with fun and laughter especially with getting the Adams fire mastered (it’s only an extra 👉).

We all wish Bro Marchant good luck as he continues his journey in the craft. Our next regular meeting is the 7th October and it promises to be an excellent night where members of Queenborough lodge no. 3893 will be joining us to perform the ceremony of the empty chair. We will also be joined by brethren from Gillingham lodge of benevelance no. 184 for their annual visit. Let’s hope there isn’t any baah’d behaviour at the festive board. All masons are welcome to join us and we would be delighted to have you visit.

For non masons who are interested in learning more about the craft and joining please do pop us a message and we would be delighted to meet with you.

Further date for your diary Tuesday November 4th when we will be raising a candidate to the sublime degree of a Master Mason.
