Our regular meeting on Tuesday 1st April was our last full meeting before our next Installation meeting on 10th May. Our new master was elected – congratulations to W.Bro Steve Charnock who will be returning to the masters chair after around 30 years. With all other administrative work taken care of, we then had a short informative talk from the East Kent Area 3 Chairman W.Bro David Mantle.
During the festive board afterwards the acting IPM W. Bro Bill Pennell gave a sincere toast to the Worship Master W.Bro Andy Carter for his excellent year in office, which was responded to by the WM who gave his thanks and gratitude to the brethren for their continued support throughout his year.
Our JW gave his last toast in his current office to our guests and visitors, which was heart felt and full of gratitude to all brethren who continually visit and support our lodge.
We are now looking forward to our Installation meeting in May – please get in touch if you would like to visit us and enjoy another splendid meeting!
