A message from our WM after his visit to The Nore Command Lodge N0. 9199
“I would like to thank the brethren of The Nore Command Lodge No 9199 for a very memorable afternoon/evening back on Saturday 22nd June. I attended as a visiting master (accompanied by our new entered apprentice, Bro. Baker). This was my first visit as WM of Adams Lodge No 158 and we had a splendid time. As expected we were greeted with an exceptionally warm welcome in the bar as we arrived, followed by an excellent meeting which saw a 50 years service to Freemasonry certificate, presented to W. Bro Keith Downing, by W. Bro Malcolm Brooks. An absolutely fantastic achievement!
We were then treated to a first class presentation by Bro Simon Braysher on ‘Sheppey: The birthplace of British aviation’, which was both detailed and informative.
After the meeting, we enjoyed an excellent festive board, patriotic moments and of course ‘pass the port’! The evening concluding with live music in the middle bar.
A big thank you to the brethren of Nore Command Lodge for an excellent afternoon and evening – I look forward to visiting again”
W. Bro A Carter (Adams Lodge No 158)
