A good fun evening at the UMC quiz night, our lodge Secretary, Peter, had a last minute invitation to join Ian Addis accompanied by his wife Sue.
Here is Peter’s recollection of the evening….
“We became the formidable “unfortunate 3”! Surrounded on all sides, we battled away against the odds, to win a trophy at the end of the evening. The Famous UMC Wooden spoon, along with the smarties which our great grandchildren quickly claimed. Larry supplied a ploughman’s buffet which was delicious! With easy questions mixed with a good few to get the brain ticking and good company made it a very enjoyable night. Well worth getting a team together for the next quiz on Saturday 19th October.”
