For those of us that are Freemasons you will know the importance we place on charity, helping those less fortunate than ourselves. It is a lesson every brother is taught at his initiation. At Adams lodge 158 we take the act of charity seriously.

Today our worshipful master Andy Carter accompanied with W.Bro Peter Pordage (secretary of the lodge) and W.Bro Ron Ball Treasurer of the lodge) visited the Kent Air Ambulance at Rochester Airport. Our Worshipful Master W. Bro Andy Carter presented a cheque for £800 to area organiser Francesca Vale.
£400 was raised at a recent Adam’s Social evening, and the lodge were delighted that “The Cornwallis East Kent Freemasons Charity” backed the donation with a further £400, allowing the lodge to support The KSSX recent county wide appeal with £800. The total raised in just a couple of months by this worthy charity is over 2 million pounds, allowing the Kent Ambulance to be in the air a further 3 hours a day.
